SPEC S&L (Size, Performance, Environment, Compatibility Scripts and Libraries), version 1.0.1, is a set of Virtual User scripts and libraries. Virtual User 2.0.1 is required to used this package.
• Package Layout
There are five folders in this package, containing:
1- Docs: all the pertinent documentation, including this one.
- Release Notes
- HitchHiker's Guide to SPEC S&L, provided in Apple DocViewer format for easy navigation when making use of the catalog. Select Open Catalogs from the Outlines menu of the Displayer application to access the catalog.
2- Scripts: scripts for 27 popular Macintosh applications.
4- Tools: external tools to V.U. used by the libraries (required) to enhance functionality.
- On Target (external tool to report target configuration information)
- Apple® Event Manager (Extension required to use V.U. external tools)
- FileTool (to perform file operations both on the host and target machines)
- MathTool (to provide physical and logical target memory size in bytes)
5- Unsupported Tools: Miscellaneous tools to aid on script development
